annual report photography The bi-annual Principal/Administrator Panel was held on September 20, 2011. This event is hosted by the Office of Student Teaching and provides an opportunity for student teachers in the School of Education and Human Performance to network and interview with participating panelists from various school systems. Participating this fall were representatives from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, Stokes County Schools, Davidson County Schools and Anne Arundel County Public Schools of Anne Arundel County, MD. In addition to the principals and administrators, a guest presenter is invited to speak to students about current issues in Education. This year’s presenter was 1999 Alumnus, Rodney Ellis. Mr. Ellis is currently serving as the vice president of North Carolina Association of Educators. He provided information about the roles and responsibilities of the various functions of a school day and emphasized the importance of engaging with constituents that impact student performance.
